In the early 1950s, the shareholding clubs of ARC Europe pioneered the provision of medical and travel assistance services. The objective was to make their personal members feel more at ease while travelling. Since then, they have expanded to deliver world-wide medical and travel assistance services through a consolidated world-wide network developed by ARC Europe.

ARC Europe's service providers handle more than 120,000 medical and travel assistance cases per year. We employ around 2,100 trained personnel to ensure that emergencies are handled with the utmost care. In the world-wide network there are more than 70 helicopters and 8 air ambulance planes, exclusively deployed and owned by our service providers.
